About the Friends of The Tank MuseumThe Friends of The Tank Museum exists to help and support The Tank Museum.
Members can help the Museum by volunteering their time and sharing their skills and knowledge which ultimately help to enrich the visitor experience. Through individual member’s annual subscriptions, The Friends are also helping to ensure future of The Tank Museum.
Volunteers are needed to help restore vehicles and artefacts, but there are many other ways a Friend can serve the Museum; by acting as a warden or by helping the Museum promote itself at shows and special events. The Archive and Library also welcomes volunteers for a variety of tasks.
Both the financial contribution made by the Friends organisation and the volunteers it supports are vital to The Tank Museum – but there are benefits for the members too.
