Armour, Manoeuvre, Firepower: The Tank Experience

This workshop covers the development of the tank from its inception in the mud and horror of the First World War through almost a hundred years of subsequent history to the role of today’s armoured fighting vehicles in current conflicts. The workshop includes the chance to get inside a 1917 Mark IV tank, the chance to try on tank crew uniform, handle munitions and climb aboard a modern British Army Main Battle Tank (latter subject to vehicle availability).
