The Tank Museum houses the finest collection of armoured fighting vehicles in the world.

Over 300 vehicles from 29 nations make up The Museums vehicle collections - which run from the very first tank to the modern British Challenger 2. Many of the vehicles we house are unique and can be seen nowhere else in the world.

Our Archive and Library is the worlds foremost research centre on the subject of armoured warfare. There are thousands of documents and thousands more (250,000) images; including technical documents, vehicle handbooks and testing/training and strategy documents - images and copies of which can be purchased. The Tank Museum to conserves the national collection of tanks and armoured fighting vehicles, and to preserve and record the individual human history of those who served in the Royal Tank Regiment and Royal Armoured Corps.
