The Tank Museum exists of conserve the world’s best collection of historic armoured fighting vehicles, and to tell the story of the men who fought in them.

We seek to preserve the memory of those who fought in armoured vehicles and specifically to remind the public of the actions and deeds of The Royal Tank Regiment and Royal Armoured Corps.

Engagement though entertainment and education is what drives our public programme, and we are continually striving to enhance our `product` through improved facilities, the restoration of exhibits, new exhibitions and the development of partnerships.

In order to do this The Tank Museum, as a registered charity, has always relied on the generosity of others. We need your help in order to continue our work to improve the conditions in which our collections are held and to improve and modernise the way they are presented.
