Planning & Booking
Here you will find further information required to plan and book your visit. Workshops can be altered or combined to suit individual requirements.If you have a specific emphasis which you would like covered, please let us know and we will try to oblige.

In planning visits, schools should allow ample time for sightseeing around the Museum and a visit to the cafeteria and souvenir shop, if wished. Groups should be under permanent supervision when on the site with a ratio of at least one adult to every 10-15 children.

Cancellations
Please notify the Education Department as soon as possible if a cancellation is necessary.


The Museum grounds provide plenty of space for picnics, whilst
children can let off steam in the play area.
The Tank Museum has extensive free parking for cars, coaches,
motorbikes and bicycles.
The Tank Museum has level entry or ramped access for wheelchair
users throughout. Lifts enable access to the higher floor. There are
also disabled parking bays and a wheelchair friendly spectator’s area
in our arena. There are also hearing loops on all of our new audio
visual interactives. Guide dogs and Hearing dogs are welcome.
