Team Activity Days

Whether you are looking for a fun packed day or ways in which to enhance your team, the Museum has a rich mix of activities to cater for all your needs.

Activities include: Armoured Vehicle Driving and Museum Tour.

Tank Experience

The Tank Museum is proud to have designed an interactive day, which will allow participants to experience the Museum’s collection in an active and energetic fashion. Supported with the right knowledge, experience and equipment our team adds drama to our armour!

Part 1

Take a ride to the MOD's Southern Area, where waiting for you will be one of the Museum’s 432 armoured vehicles to drive around the two mile track. This course is exclusive to the Museum and features a track enclosed within woodland and fields.

Part 2

You will now have the chance to feel the awesome power of a main battle tank, as you cruise around the Museum’s tank arena and over the dreaded knife-edge.

Part 3

After lunch, participants will be lead around the Museum by one of our trained Museum Assistants, who will assist in bringing the collection to life and offer the rare opportunity to climb inside a selection of vehicles. This exclusive day costs £265 per delegate with 24 places available this also includes lunch, refreshments and a memento of your day.

26th September 2008 and 17th October 2008

Tank Rides

A Tank ride consists of riding in a main battle tank during one of our “Tanks In Action” displays which lasts approximately 30 minutes. Tank rides must be pre-booked and get booked up extremely quickly. We can only cater for one tank ride per day. Each ride costs £150 which includes Museum entrance. Please note that tank rides only take place during the Tanks In Action displays.
