A dedicated team of volunteers
The Friends were founded in 1983
with the object of providing a focus
for people with a mutual interest in the Museum.

It is a group for both young and old, soldiers and civilians.
Friends of The Tank Museum comes from all walks of life.
How to Support the Tank Museum
There are two ways in which you can help support the Tank Museum:
  • Volunteer your services
  • Subscribe to the "Friends" of the Tank Museum
Volunteers are needed to help with
  • Restoring vehicles
  • Administration duties within the Tank Museum
  • Restoration of artefacts and exhibits

Subscription to the "Friends"
The financial contribution made through the Friends organisation assists the Museum to maintain and preserve the collection and is extremely beneficial to the museums long-term sustainability.
