A.F. Warwick

Major A.F. Warwick, MBE

Army Welterweight Boxing Champion and in 1924 Olympic team.

Joined the Army (Devonshire Regiment) at 16 in 1914 and later tarnsferred to the Machine Gun Corps and ultimately Tank Corps and Royal Tank Corps where he was one of the youngest Regimental Sergeant Majors. Rejoined the Army at the outbreak of World War 2 and was ultimately promoted to Major.

Died in 1973
