A TV historian, a Cambridge University Professor,
and a well known local author are among a host of
personalities due to speak at The Tank Museum this
winter.
The line up for the Dorset charity's popular lecture
series has been confirmed, promising a fascinating
season of talks on a variety of historical subjects.
Museum Spokesman Lee Major said; "Our
unique venue provides a stunning backdrop where guests
will be able to listen to the likes of BBC's Richard
Holmes as he brings the Western Front to life, and
hear how Holocaust survivor Danek Bartek escaped the
Nazi death camps."
Among other names appearing this winter is acclaimed
local author Rodney Legg, who will be taking his audience
back in time to the war years; a darker chapter in
Dorset's long history.
Lee Major added; "Last years lectures
were a huge success - and we expect the same rush
for tickets this year - so book early to avoid disappointment"
