Get Tanked Up this Christmas!

The Tank Museum is making a fantastic offer for tank enthusiasts during the festive season. Two packages are available; one featuring a tank ride as its highlight, and the other a place on our unique 7 hour Tank Experience Day.

The income generated will go towards The Tank Museum’s At Close Quarters Redevelopment project.

Tank Ride Package - Tank Ride during a Tank Museum display
Climb into the commanders seat of a main battle tank as it thunders around the arena in one of our visitor displays (30 minutes duration).
The Tank Museum 2008 Calendar – A glossy A4 spiral bound publication featuring stunning photography of a variety of special vehicles, taken at Tankfest in 2006.
Family Ticket & Exhibition Guide Book – A visit for up to 2 adults and three children to view the world’s best collection of tanks, and a complimentary exhibition guide book.
Saving The Tiger – The Story of Tiger 131 – A fascinating DVD documentary telling the story of our world famous Tiger Tank from its construction, capture in World War Two and its restoration to running order. This package is available for £180.

Tank Experience Package - Tank Museum Experience Day
Experience the Tank Museum at its very best in a full day function. Along with other delegates you will learn to drive a 432 APC in a military training area, the ride in the commander’s seat of an historic Main Battle Tank. Following a hot lunch, you will be guided around The Tank Museum by one of our experts.

The guide book, DVD, calendar and tickets will be posted gift wrapped. Tank rides & Tank Experience Day’s take place on certain times dates and must be pre-booked. You will be given a list of dates to choose from, but these are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
