with The Tank Museum - but this certainly isn't
Opera as you know it! |
Hatstand Opera, a national touring company specialising
in venue-themed performances, present a unique
tank-themed show at The Tank Museum on Friday
13th May, entitled Tanks, Tantrums and Tiaras.
Museum spokesman Nik Wyness said; "Hatstand
Opera are famed for bringing popular opera
to the most unusual of settings. Tanks, Tantrums
and Tiaras promises to be an unmissable evening
of entertainment and top notch music in a fascinating
setting for the opera shy and for opera lovers
alike.
"Light hearted and with an emphasis on musical
fun, the audience can expect a thrilling
performance complete with an exclusive viewing
of the Museum's unique collection."
The Tank Museum will be providing all the comforts
of a theatre for its guests, including a complimentary
light buffet and a fully licensed bar.
Prior to the evening performance, Hatstand Opera
will also be hosting entertaining and educational
music workshops in the Museum for local schools.
