Museum spokesman Nik Wyness said; “Proms at The Museum will feature all the pomp and circumstance of The Last Night of The Proms, with many popular classics, such as Land Of Hope and Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem.”

“It’s the first time The Museum has held such an open air concert, and we hope that visitors will bring along Union Jacks and dress in the spirit of the occasion. They are also welcome to bring along chairs, rugs and perhaps a picnic so they can really enjoy the evening. We also recommend that warm clothes are also brought – although we are able to move the concert indoors should the great British weather live up to expectations!”
