TWO EMPLOYEE’S CELEBRATE ¼ CENTURY OF SERVICE

News Release issued: 5th April 2007

Two Tank Museum Employees are today celebrating 25 years of employment.

Historian David Fletcher and Workshop Supervisor Graham `Chatty` Taylor, who have both worked at the Museum since 1982, were honoured at a surprise staff party that took place at The Museum.

Richard Smith paid tribute to pair and the immense contribution they had made to The Museum. He said; “Each of them is a world expert in their field, and it is a pleasure and honour to work with them. They have played a crucial role in establishing the status of the Tank Museum as a world class museum. We very much look forward to what the next 25 years has in store!”

Staff and friends were joined by previous staff members, including George Forty and John Woodward - two former directors whom the pair have served.
