Stall Holder Information
There is a potential for over 30,000 people to attend all the events held at the museum. These visitors are genuinely interested in the museum and especially the event being held. The range of events this year follows a similar format to previous years, and if any of you wish to promote the museum and it's events, then please contact the event organiser who will send some brochures.
   
Conditions Of Entry
  • All exhibitors and traders agree to abide by the site rules and regulations as applied by the organisers and the Ministry of Defence, and to obey the instructions issued by the marshals in enforcing those rules.
  • On site camping will be permitted at all events, within the areas designated, contact the organiser for availability. Exhibitors and traders requiring this facility must notify the organisers in writing in advance so that the necessary permits may be issued. This facility will be available from the day prior to the event, during the event and the day after the event. Camping before or after these times will incur a charge of £10 per night.
  • Under no circumstances will any fires, barbecues or similar naked flame cooking be allowed within the public areas. All such activities must be confined to the official campsite, if available.
  • The presence of dogs and other pets at all events at the museum site is discouraged. Any animals on site must be kept under control at all times. Owners will be responsible for the pet's health, safety and hygiene at all times.
  • The speed limit on site is 5 mph for all vehicles. Failure to observe this may result in a request for the offending vehicle to immediately vacate the site. There will be no vehicle movement once the event is open to the public, without express permission from the organiser.
  • All exhibitors and traders must be insured, to a minimum cover of £5,000,000 public liability insurance. Proof of insurance cover must be provided by the exhibitor or trader on demand.
  • All exhibitors and traders should have a nominated safety person who must contact the show organisers on arrival on site for a basic safety brief.
  • All exhibitors and traders should have the means to contain any outbreak of fire on their area.
  • Up to Four (4) adults may accompany each exhibit, and traders will be issued passes according to the size of trade stand 2 per 6 foot table or per 20' x 20' outside space.
  • All tickets and passes will be issued, after payment for the trade site has been made in full, approximately 8 weeks prior to the event, and NO admittance will be gained to the site without the appropriate passes.
  • All trade stands are to be set up and ready to trade approximately 30 minutes prior to the public opening of the show.
  • The Tank Museum is a NO SMOKING site.
  • Traders will not use Tank Museum exhibits as display aids for the stock to rest upon. All Museum exhibits must be clearly visible to the museum visitor.
  • All aisles, thoroughfares and fires exits and egress routes will be kept clear at all times.
  • No films, raffle tickets, food, confectionary or drinks will be sold without the written permission from a member of the Museum's event team.
  • Deactivated weapons and replicas will be allowed, but must be carefully controlled by the traders concerned.
  • The decision of the Event Organisers in any dispute is final.

  • All drivers will have the necessary licence and insurance to cover their specific vehicle. Both licence and insurance must be available for inspection on the event day.
  • There will be no collecting for charities, except from your stand or paid area.
  • No animals, fish or other living creatures will be given away as prizes.
