The Tank Museum offers discounts to pre-booked groups of 12+.

The Tank Museum welcomes groups all year round and offers free on-site parking for cars, mini-buses and coaches.

(12 or more people)

Adults: £12.00 - a saving of £2.00 from our standard admission price!
Children (5-16): £5.50 – a saving of £3.50 from our standard admission price!

Museum Facilities

As well as offering Guided Tours (see below), the Museum has a large restaurant with various food options, good disabled access, qualified first aiders and numerous toilet facilities.

Guided Tours*

To enhance your group’s visit, The Tank Museum can offer two exclusive private tours to make the most of your visit. For only additional £5.00 per person, the two tours available are:

Access to First World War Tank

Climb inside this rare British Mark IV and discover what life was like for the crew (minimum of 12 people). This is an exclusive tour only for group visitors.




Tank Story Hall Tour

A walking tour of the museum’s flagship exhibition hall exploring the history of armoured warfare from the first tank prototype ‘Little Willie’ to the present day ‘Challenger II’ (maximum 25 people per tour)


Smaller groups and individuals can also have a guided tour of the Tank Story Hall, there is a flat rate of £30 for less than 6 people. 


 * Please note that tours must be booked and confirmed at least seven days in advance of the visit and are subject to availability.


School Visits:
