Getting Here

The Museum will open at 8.30am. Parking is free at Tiger Day and our uniformed staff will direct you to available spaces, car Parks open at 7.30am.

There are also regular train services in to nearby Wool train station. See the National Rail website for more information. There are usually taxis waiting at the station, which can be hired to take you to The Tank Museum. See the Find Us page for more information on public transport.

There will be a shuttle bus between Wool station and The Tank Museum, arriving outside the Museum on King George V Road. Please find the schedule here.

There will be a cloakroom service located in the Churchill Suite at £1 per item.

• There is uneven ground on parts of the site 
• Grass areas can be slippery when wet 
• Site is dusty 
• Regretfully dogs are not allowed onsite 
• Children must be accompanied by parent(s)/guardian(s) at all times 
• As a condition of entry, visitors may be subject to a search.
