October Half Term Book Signings

Tricia Walker and Ivan Petrus will be coming to The Tank Museum in October

Doing the October Half Term, The Tank Museum will be welcoming two authors, Ivan Petrus and Tricia Walker. No booking required.

On the 24th of October at 11am, Tricia Walker will be signing copies of her book, Benedict's Brother, in the Second World War Hall.

Benedict's Brother
, soon to be made into a major motion picture, is the story of a young woman, Benedict, who is asked by her uncle, a former Japanese prisoner-of-war, to scatter his ashes from the Bridge on the River Kwai in Thailand. Benedict's journey becomes much more than simply a fulfilment of his last request. It's a journey of confrontation, self-discovery and of finding the long lost brother she thought she once knew.



On the 25th of October at 11am in the conference suite, Ivan Petrus will be giving a presentation about his graphic novel, The Last Braedy, followed by a book signing.

This is beautifully illustrated WWI graphic novel tells the story of Vicky Braedy, the last descendant of E.H. Braedy, a crew member of legendary tank 'Fray Bentos'. Vicky has inherited all his writings and memorabilia, and decides to travel to Flanders Fields with her husband, to look for clues and traces concerning her great-great grandfather.
