A.E. Harrison

Originally enlisting with the Royal Armoured Corps, SSM Harrison was attached to G.H.Q. Liaison Regiment (Phantom) in January 1940. He rose through the ranks to Sergeant Major and ultimately WO2.

He took part in military operations as a Commando at Dieppe in 1942 and as a Parachutist in 1944-1945 while in the SAS.

Mentioned in Despatches, published in London Gazette on 4th April 1946. Awarded a Croix de Guerre with Palm by the Prince Regent of Belgium
