9 Powerful Exhibitions, 300 tanks and 100 years of armoured warfare - great for families of all ages.

Tanks in Action Displays – Every Weekday

/cms-images/fury shermanSee Tanks roll into action at 1pm every weekday, starting on Bank Holiday Monday 25 May. A few lucky visitors will be picked from the Museum to take part in the display, please find a Team Member in the Orientation Area outside of the Trench Experience Exhibition if you would like to take part! Expect a mock battle, lifelike explosions and expert commentary. The theme for May Half Term is the Second World War, featuring the Sherman M4A2E8 'Fury'.  

Vehicle Rides – Every Day

M458_Rides Vehicle_April 2017_189_cropExperience for yourself the thrill of riding in an M548 tracked vehicle. This working example of military hardware seats 16 at a time – so the whole family can jump on together. Available every day during the holidays, from 13:30 to 16:30, a £4 per person charge applies, or £13.50 for a 4 person family. Visitors must be over 1.25m tall to ride in the Tracked Vehicle.  

Tonnes of Fun for Families!

paint_a_tankTake part in a range of family activities and crafts, including Paint a Tank. Kids can also let off steam in our outdoor play area and in our soft play area, adjacent to our Café. Plus free family trails to keep them absorbed with teasers and puzzles
