Event Sponsor: Arts University Bournemouth BA (Hons) Modelmaking Course

aub-logo-defaultBA (Hons) Modelmaking is a course held at the Arts University Bournemouth. We specialise in delivering a broad range of modelmaking skills and techniques, tailored to provide our graduates with the best opportunities of employment after graduation.

Our stand will hold examples of making techniques that support the different areas of professional modelmaking. Models featured will provide an insight into the exciting and varied work undertaken by professional modelmakers, across Architecture, Film Production and Museum Exhibitions.

Throughout the show we will be holding demonstrations of how to use a 3D printer and making objects for visitors to take away. If visitors are interested in learning more about modelmaking as a career, or want advice on expanding their modelmaking skills base, we can provide help looking for an appropriate Arts University Bournemouth full-time, part-time or evening course.

Charity Dalek Squad

This year the Charity Dalek Squad will be in attendance both days, running an Audience with a Dalek Q&A session as well as giving queue entertainment and information on how they build their Daleks.

The Charity Dalek Squad (CDS) exists to raise money for good causes and charities across the United Kingdom. CDS was established in 2003 and  as group of professional volunteers and hobbyists who for many years have attended and organised charity events. Daleks have often been referred to as tanks, so they fit right in.
