In a day of Tank Workshop themed activities, you’ll find out how The Tank Museum conserves, restores and maintains it fleet of historic vehicles.
Led by the presenters of The Tank Workshop Diaries, you’ll get an in-depth look at current projects and discover the challenges presented by major overhauls as you tour the impressive Workshop Facilities.
Take a look behind these scenes and find out more about the work undertaken on tanks such as Matilda II and Churchill Mk III among many other vehicles in The Tank Museum’s historic collection, before taking a tour of the rarities and future projects that await in the Vehicle Conservation Centre.
Following lunch you’ll enjoy an hour tour of The Tank Museum led by one of our guides before rounding off the day with an opportunity to explore the Museum’s 10 Powerful Exhibitions on your own.
