New and Exclusive experience for Tankfest 25-26 June.

Spend the day with a Tank Crew at Tankfest!

Brand new for 2016! We are offering you the chance to make your Tankfest experience extra special by spending the day embedded with The Tank Museum Workshop team. This will include the chance to explore and take a ride in a tank of your choice (from the list below), during a Tankfest display.

They will be sold on a first come first served basis. Guests may choose one tank for their experience on one of the days at Tankfest. 
There is availability for an experience in each of these tanks:

Centurion ARV (10.45am) SUNDAY ONLY

Tank Crew Programme:

8.45am – Meet at Admissions A – the VIP Entrance, where you will be escorted to the Workshops.
On arrival you will be issued with a personalised coverall, special colour hi-viz jacket, refreshments and a Show Guide. 
9.00am - You will be given a Health and Safety brief by the Workshops team. Then you will be assigned to a member of the workshop team for the day.
10.00am – Unlimited access to the tank park and access to the selected vehicle; including inside.
You will then have a chance to watch arena displays, visit living history encampments and browse the Museum. 
Lunch – A packed lunch will be provided by the Workshops.
Afternoon – You are welcome to remain with your selected vehicle or watch the arena displays elsewhere. 
5.00pm – Experience finishes 
6.00pm – Site Closes 

The experience includes a Tankfest weekend ticket and an annual pass. 
If you have already purchased a Tankfest ticket it will be refunded and family members (a maximum of three people) will be able to purchase normal Tankfest admission tickets even if the event is already sold out.

Terms and Conditions:
Age & Height Limit: Must be 17 or over and at least 1.4m (4ft6in) tall. 
PPE will be provided.
Must be able to climb on vehicles unaided. 
Please wear suitable footwear. 
Must not be afraid of heights. 
No cameras allowed on or inside the vehicle, when moving. 
Cameras are allowed inside the vehicle when static. The Tank Museum accept no responsibility for loss or damage to personal items. 
Any photos taken on the day, are for personal use only. 
No spectators allowed in Tank Park when there is vehicle movement. 
All attendees must abide by the Tank Museum rules, especially when in the tank park. Museum staff reserve the right to cancel the experience and ask the participant to leave site, if the rules are not abided to. 
As with all our historic machines, the day is subject to mechanical reliability on the day.
